Our seed giving has symbolical, physical, and financial objectives. It plants a vision of self-sufficiency in the minds and hearts of the poor. It sows a seed of real future and real hope. When it works, it reaps a gift that keeps on giving.
We have given seeds to a village that hardly raised their own vegetable. Today, they are not only eating off their harvest, they are now selling them. They have also started giving back by supporting our feeding program during our Harvest Sunday. Some have started bringing vegetables every Sunday. Soon, we hope they will also bring seeds for us to share to other villages.
